Facial massage as a natural alternative to botox

Facial massage is a natural and non-invasive tool to promote healthy skin and to relax facial muscles, which undergo constant stress.

During facial massage our main aim is to work on the fascia of your face, neck and shoulders, breaking down built up tension, donating a more relaxed and fresh appearance. Fascia is a tissue which surrounds muscles, bones, veins, organs; we refer to it as the body envelope and when it gets stuck it compromises muscle movements, their range of motion and just think when this happens to the face, it compromises our expressions too!

Repetitive actions, stress, trauma or surgical procedures restrict the fascia, compromising its elasticity and suppleness. Skin cells do not receive much nutrients giving our face a dull appearance and speeding up ageing process .

Many people clench their teeth or strain their eyes in front of a screen for prolonged periods of time, these actions contribute to build up tension on the face resulting in headaches, earaches and other disorders.

Facial massage helps to release this tension on the face, neck and shoulders allowing blood and lymphatic circulation to be more efficient.

Improvements can be noticed after only one treatment, however for a longer lasting result it is suggested to get weekly appointments for the first weeks followed by monthly appointments to keep your face looking fresh and glowing all the time.
