The experience and the benefits of "Cosmetic Acupuncture"

Today I would like to talk about the benefits of “Cosmetic Acupuncture”
I had not had any cosmetic acupuncture treatment before but I was very curious about it. Since we have an acupuncture specialist Miki, she gave me a cosmetic acupuncture session. It was so scary in the beginning and actually I felt a little pain on some points of my face. Miki told me that is because I had tight jaw muscles which should be released. You may feel a little pain where you have a tension. I believe that nowadays so many people have tight jaw muscles due to busy life style, stress and thinking too much. Also, our eyes must be tired due to smartphone… Some people grind their teeth during sleep and clench them without realizing. This habit could build jaw muscles and cause headache and neck and shoulder pain.
After Miki inserted fine needles into my face followed by acupuncture point, she attached some equipment to the needles to apply an electrical current.
Miki carefully increased the electrical current and I started feeling the current moved my facial muscles. It feels like as if my facial muscle is doing exercises. Miki told me the first current releases muscle tensions. After about 10 minutes, she used the different types of the current to tone muscles to lift up my face.
After the treatment, my jaw muscles were a lot softer and felt so relaxed. My eyes looked bigger and opened more. (Sorry I forgot to take pictures after the treatment…)
